Week 8

In this week Colin talked to us about the most popular images formats G.I.F, PNG and JPEG these are the most common and used image formats.
- G.I.F (Graphic Interchange Format) The format supports up to 8 bits per pixel, allowing a single image to reference a palette of up to 256 colours. The perfect example is Logo design which looks perfect when saved in G.I.F format - PNG (Portable Network Graphics) The format supports palette-based images with palettes of 24-bit RGB or 32-bit RGBA colours. This image format is ideal for logos where we have a lot of colours. - JPEG Is mostly used for natural pictures, it is not really good for logos.
